Sometimes we all need to take a break to reflect on where we are and where we are going. Thus, the video above is presented here on The American Landscape with the hope of putting some of us in that kind of mood. Why? For one reason, because unless some unforeseen event occurs between now and this coming Monday, one of the Biden Administration’s “show trials” intended to persecute President Trump is scheduled to begin.
It has become clear that our only hope is in Jesus. Even in this temporal existence, we are constantly seeing the things that we have put our trust in demolished. Our leaders are corrupt. Even Speaker Johnson has sold us down the river. Our monetary system has been debased leading to rampant inflation and unaffordable housing and forcing both parents to enter the workforce. Our education system produces declining test scores and social justice warriors without logical thinking skills. Our medical system abandoned the promise to first do no harm and completely forgot that naturally acquired immunity surpasses anything given via syringe. Our elections have no integrity. Our military is focused on climate change and social justice rather than war fighting. Our justice system delivers injustice to political enemies. We have church denominations abandoning the word of God. We need a miracle. Lord Jesus, I ask that you destroy these false gods and shake our foundations. Radically change the hearts of our leaders so that they embrace your teachings and rule in righteousness or give us new leaders that will that we might live peaceful prosperous lives. Amen
