Editor’s Note No. 1:
In the opinion of us at The American Landscape, the two individuals speaking in the above video neither understand or appreciate either “wokeness” or “Christianity.” And at the same time, it would seem they are revealing their utter contempt and hatred of Christ and those who have decided to proclaim Him as their Lord.
Wokeness in our view is an attempt by the left to get us as a culture to embrace and accept as normal certain lifestyles that God has indicated He rejects as abominations.
And in the view of the left, if you fail to accept and embrace these lifestyles as normal, you are somehow a “hater” of those who practice such lifestyles.
In reality, however, that is not so.
Like the God Christians worship — i.e. Christ — they really do acknowledge that we are all broken and susceptible to sin. And, as such, are in need of His forgiveness which He freely offers to those who are willing to seek it.
But, when we confront those who practice any form of sin, we do want them to know what our Lord has to say about their sin and petition them to come around … that is to turn from that sin and seek to be righteous in His sight.
What the women in the video above seem to want, however, is for us to embrace the “lived experience” of others, even if that “lived experience” is condemned by our higher authority. That said, according to their way of thinking, if one’s “lived experience” is that of a serial murderer, would they think Christians to be somewhat lesser beings for not accepting and embracing the practice of serial murder?
On the other hand, wouldn’t it be preferable to follow Christianity, and pray for the redemption of the murderer while also making an effort to work towards that “sinner’s” rejection of the practice of murder … or whatever other sin the “sinner” may happen to prefer to proclaim as legitimately valid and openly choose to practice in utter disregard of God’s stated opinion to the contrary?
Just saying …
