As a nation we have now been made to witness the arraignment of the second criminal indictment filed against President Trump in just the last few months. And we are told to expect at least two more to be filed before the end of the year.
All for different criminal charges based on a host of unrelated far-fetched legal theories that only sick anti-Trump prosecutors in completely different jurisdictions could have conjured up in the course of a single year before an election, all while sharing in common only a single twisted goal: to stop Donald Trump from ever returning to the White House as President.
Yet with these lame attempts to handicap the leading candidate opposing Biden, it is a prayer shared by many that these “persecutors” are quite possibly jumping a shark that could very well come back around sometime soon and bite them all in the ass.
Indeed, as President Trump’s ratings in the polls and campaign donations are said to be soaring in response to these indictments, this does seem likely. And, with his promise to install a Special Counsel to investigate the corruption of the Biden family upon his return to the White House, it is all but guaranteed these indictments, in sum, could very well bite them in the ass, if ultimately he is able to resume office.
All said and done, for many of us out here in the hinterlands — i.e, outside Washington, D.C. — where the bulk of true patriots seem to reside, this would be viewed as a good thing for our nation.
BUT,
One important question we should all be considering even now in 2023 is: If President Trump is allowed to serve another term as our President, will his help to restore America be more like that of King David who, together with his offspring, helped his nation to re-establish the providence of God’s hand in their nation’s affairs? Or will history look back at President Trump’s second term as little more than a reprieve from America’s present moral slide into debauchery that is more analogous to the reign of King Jehu than that of King David?
