Editor’s Note No. 1:
It has been said, there are two ways to become rich: (1) make more money; or (2) want less.
In other words, be thankful for all that you DO have, and focus less on what others may seem to have that you don’t.
To put it into perspective, consider this. No matter what car you may drive today, one thing is certain. Your vehicle is infinitely better than the car driven by any person who lived before the 19th century no matter how rich they may have been.
Why?
Because there weren’t any.
Indeed, according to some accounts, people in western civilizations did not even have “toilet paper” until its invention in 1857! Before that, things like corn cobs, moss, communal sponges on a stick and leaves found around the forest or in gardens were used to make do, and also accounts for the heavy use of perfumes and other “toiletries” in various cultures back then. And yet, the virtual universal availability of toilet paper today is just one of the things all of us simply take for granted.
When viewed from this perspective, if you give it any thought at all, aren’t you “grateful” and even “thankful” that you do have not only toilet paper in your life, but so many other things that we — in this modern era — simply take for granted that were not even in existence as recently as 100 years ago?
You know … things like electricity and insulation in our homes, antibiotics for our infections and even T.V.’s, much less computers, for our entertaining pleasure.
Then, perhaps our next step should be to look around us and find those who have far less of the “essentials” than we do, and consider ways that we may be called upon to help them out, rather than obsess on how we can get more than we’ve already been blessed with. And on this note, let us close with this story about just such a transaction that occured in the darkness of night on a bridge in New York many years ago:
When is the last time any of us did anything for another in need like this woman?
Just wondering …
Editor’s Note No. 2:
If you have the time, you may want to hear Cliff Nichols and Pastor Curt Miller from the East Mountain Cowboy Church be interviewed by Becca Mari at the following link. Note that the interview actually starts at the 30:20 mark.
And, if you are able to watch any part of it and have any thoughts about anything discussed or how ridiculously goodlooking Cliff Nichols is, please let us know.

Please … Do not forget to pray for Tina Peters, Derek Chauvin and the family of Ashli Babbitt!!!
One thing is for sure … Two of them haven’t forgotten YOU and the third has sadly been denied the opportunity!
This video will appear at the bottom of The American Landscape until all such political victims have been either exonerated and released from custody or afforded the justice that can only come by holding the guilty accountable.
