Above, Larry Arnn, President of Hillsdale College, gives a short course on the beginnings of our great nation by discussing the contents of the Declaration of Independence.
Four times in that document our founders reverence for God is incorporated into the foundational structure of America. He not only is the provider of our rights but is also our Supreme Judge who will render His decision as to whether what we do is right or wrong.
In other words, He provides us the standards by which we must — and ultimately He shall — measure our behavior and that of our leaders.
At the end of our time here on earth, may we be found to have fulfilled His expectations for us and be found worthy of all the blessings He has bestowed upon us.
